Mirrors in the warehouse
What is a good rule of thumb for putting mirrors in a warehouse?

As far as convex mirrors for forklift and pedestrian traffic?

Normally I've seen convex mirrors put near blind turns or intersections. I really like them - definitely a plus when I see them in the workplace. Let us know how it goes once you install them

I go farther. I like the new blue lights but I just was at a customer where a PIT so equipped was moving forward slowly and female employee came out of nowhere and stepped right in front of a PIT. She missed the forks but got her foot in front of the right front tire. Messed her steel toed boot up and broker some toes! I will post more in a minute.
I like to put stop signs up at all 4 corners for pedestrians and PIT operators at all intersections. Also love convex mirrors the more the better! PIT Operators are required to STOP, look both ways, look up at the mirror and slowly proceed through if clear!
Rule of thumb - if there are ever a people versus PIT scenario involving “couldn’t see them or couldn’t stop in time” you need it. Blue lights project the path, people are “supposed to look, stop, act” but they don’t. This escalates quickly to designated walking paths, cross walks, traffic layout.
