Before I left my internship over the summer I put them all in a OneDrive file to share throughout all the computers. Not sure if they went with that or a SDS Software.

I've used a couple in the past. VelocityEHS had a good system (MSDSOnline) that was fairly easy to use, allowed us to print GHS labels, etc. However, their software does come with a cost since it's a more robust setup.
I've also used Sospes, who partners with Global Safety Management (GSM) for their SDS portion. It's not as in-depth as MSDSOnline, but if you're just wanting the basics/bare minimum, then it works just fine and is a lot cheaper.

MSDSonline, as stated earlier, is an EHS Velocity Product. You can get it solo or with as a component of EHS Velocity. You can do the same with HumanTech, EHSVel's Ergo Program. I used both MSDS and HumanTech long before bought by EHSVel. I have not used HumanTech's recent online software (but for Training, Forms, and Ergo Support).
My former employer started using MSDSonline about 2005. I retired in Fall of 2017, they still use it and HumanTech, but for some unknown reason picked Gensuite for Incident Reporting in 2015. That is another story for the Corporate World file of stories.
One of my customers chose MSDSonline three years ago, but as a solo product. It remains very easy to use and has all kinds of great features. I do not think anyone can match their SDS Library. With it you probably will never have to download another SDS from the chemical manufacturer. However, the price has doubled in three years. My customer is actively searching for another source.
I will never forget the day in 2005, I could get rid of all those Yellow MSDS Notebooks out in the plant! One of my biggest headaches GONE! I tried for awhile to still maintain one master paper file. However, in 2007 I came up with a much better simple method!
Talking to MSDSonline in 2014 I asked them if they were going change their name to "SDSonline." They said they could not as someone else beat them to the name and they just decided that everyone knew them as MSDS so they were sticking with it!

This is great information. My company does not have any online solutions. Instead, we are still using old-school methods of storing SDS sheets in a shared PC file.
Does anyone recommend a solution for simple SDS file storage, or would you stay with the existing shared PC file plan?

My old company used Imagewave and it was pretty good.
