EV System and safety requirements
Hello Knights,
I appreciate this group a lot as I learn things on this platform each time I log in.
My question is: Who has worked or currently working at an EV (Electrical Vehicle) manufacturing plants and what are the basic safety requirements as regards quality section of manufacturing?. Specifically interested in the quality area from start to End. Any info or source of info will be greatly appreciated. This is my first time dealing with EVs so I’m sourcing.

Are you an ISO 9001 certified organization? If so, you can tie safety into your quality management system under clauses 6 and 7. I do a lot of work tying safety to quality either with ISO or six sigma, if you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to help.
I’m not familiar with the EV manufacturing process but I imagine most of your safety program will be similar to other general industry (manufacturing plants). There may be some nuances with your specific process, but from my experience (in several different industries) most of the concepts carry over
Need a little more info. Are you manufacturing the components, or assembling all of the components?

I am not sure I understand your question? The #1 basic safety requirement in my opinion is 29 CFR 1910. Once we got that covered we and move on the ISO. EVs are no different than any other manufacturing plant!
