Safety Wearables
I am curious how many folks are using safety wearables/technology? If no, why not?

No, but I have heard of this company Preventure - helps target unsafe ergonomic positions on employees. They basically wear this sensor which collects movement data. Really cool stuff: https://preventure.live/

I am not familiar with wearables for ergonomics, but we use a program called HUMAN TECH to video tape the actions to determine ergonomics concerns.

I'd love to into it. I just dont know enough about the products that are out there for construction. Plus I'd be worried that the guys wouldn't want to wear it and we would be wasting money

Looking to start trialing something called Modjoul

I am not familiar with the technology

Ever heard of RealWear? It has a small camera on it that links someone in the field to massive amounts of safety research and research documents to come to their aid. "Our wearable devices connect the frontline worker to information and expertise needed to successfully complete job tasks safely and efficiently." One of our guys is a distributor, I could put you in touch if interested. .
