Like others have said, I am a jack of all trades because of the breadth of operations at my employer. I am an expert at several of those areas just because I have worked in those areas extensively. For example, I spent quite few years assigned to hazmat team. I am an expert in hazmat spill response. Also, I have a lot of confined space experience.
I am a jack of all trades with a strong emphasis on industrial hygiene and very little environmental (planning to get more experience here in the next two years).
I’m a Jack of a all trades, but I have my niche in confined space entry/rescue, HazMat, and medical.
Jack of all trades, but I don’t do it well haha! I wish I could work one vertical but I don’t think our field works like that. Luckily the knowledge and expertise will come with time - just need to be patient
