Thanks r/osha for the picture! How would you make this situation safer?

I feel like the height is a bit..... extensive. Why didn’t they stack them all flat so that it would be more sturdy? I also agree that they could store some in the back. It is better if a display looks like there are a limited supply for selling purposes. Gotta give them props tho. Might be a disgruntled employee too trying to get back at a supervisor or something.

It's time for a fan sale!! 50% OFF or maybe BOGO

Wow! Thats pretty rough. Looks like there is a decent bit of room to the left of the pile to store fans, so they don't have to go so high

Drop the price to 5.00. Guarantee they would be gone in no time. Seriously though, limit the height of the stacks to 6 ft., store the rest in the warehouse.
I never thought I'd see the possibility of death by fan avalanche, but there it is.
I hope the photographer said something to the store people.

Impressive, curious how long that sat there before anyone even questioned it. Get that one customer that needs the fan off the 4th stack, then get injured from the ensuing Lasko avalanche. Looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
I'm amazed that hasn't fallen

I wonder if there is an existing store policy on stacking displays. I would think there is, and this may have been an oversight or overzealous employee. If not, we should get this policy documented in the work instructions and retrain our crew setting up the displays. This may also be a good opportunity for knowledge sharing with regional/national locations.

First of all, that's impressive - such a high stack. I want that person on my Jenga team
