Today is 4/20, what is your company's policies for drug testing, and substance abuse assistance?
I've seen many companies, including my own begin to take a softer stance on recreational marijuana use. Also does your company offer substance abuse assistance to employees who admit they need help with addiction?

Morning all here from the UK.
Your business should ideally have an EAP in place. An employees assistance programme.
It’s a free phone number, to a third party of your companies choice to talk about most things employees maybe contending with. Perhaps debt, mental health, substance misuse or dependency.
Some policies may just guide you so such charities and support.
Are you an employee or business owner?
Our employees must pass a drug test to be hired in, they also must be drug tested anytime they open a new claim. We do not do random drug testing, but we can issue a test with reasonable suspicion. However, that requires a lot of paperwork! I can't help but feel concerned that companies are becoming softer on recreational marijuana use. Whether it is legal in a state or not that is no excuse for being under the influence of a drug and coming to work. Potentially putting yourself and others in danger....
Yes, our HR department provides some assistance to employees who need it. We have a lot of company vehicles so we have a drug testing policy for employees who are involved in accidents, then offer some counseling if they need it.
No assistance, but we do implement "random" drug testing (excuse to fire employees they don't like)
Company doesn’t care but the government customers do!
