Managing Safety Documents
I am struggling to find a good way to manage our many safety plans which have to be updated annually. My current idea is to transition to a SharePoint list where the metadata links back to the library so I can track status, expiration, sign-off authority, version history, etc.
While planning this, I started wondering what others do to manage their documents that require input from multiple stakeholders. How do you all manage/track status of your more important safety documents?

Hey Adam! Not sure if you're in the market for an all-in-one safety solution, but I'd be happy to chat with you about iReportSource! We have a document repository module included too. Feel free to email me at asantel@ireportsource.com. Have a great day!

Sharepoint is amazing for shared documents. You can have lots of folders, and restrict certain folders to only certain people.
A sharepoint based system is probably your best bet.
Have to ask what is required for an annual update? Every 3-5 years is an interval I'm more familiar with.

We use a network drive. It works great but it’s very easy for those folders to get disorganized so I feel like your team needs to be pretty disciplined with saving and folder management for it to be effective

We use Dropbox, it's great
