Are benefits available to part time employees?
Right now the only thing tying me down to my full time position is health insurance. Any HR savvy people out there that know if benefits are typically only offered to full time employees? Or are benefits typically offered on a case to case basis?

The Affordable Care Act states that an employer with more than 50 employees, who work work at least 30 hours per week are considered full time and they must be offered health care through their employer. If you no longer worked for an employer who offered health insurance, or you went to work for yourself, you may be eligible to buy through the health insurance exchange and qualify for a subsidy to help you pay for it.
