Realized we have no readily accessible biohazard containers
How many biohazard containers do you have for your facility? I had some dry skin that started bleeding today and realized that there weren’t any containers readily accessible. Looking to hear who has a system for how and where they put their biohazard waste containers?

Is there any specifications by any regulations (industrial standards or local law ) even International recommendations to that factor?

We have quite a few but they are all tucked away so they do not go missing and will only come out when needed. Not sure on the number... but definitely a few small and two large. We have an on-site clinic so we probably have more than the average facility.

Only have one 5 gallon bucket from Stericycle and a few smaller biohazard sharps containers throughout the manufacturing floor. The bucket is a few hundred dollars but that also includes a send back processing program.

We have one in our first aid room. It stays in there!
