I handle the safety and HR side of onboarding.

Mostly Hr but I give about a 40 minute safety speech that goes over expectations, incident reporting, safety rules, etc. That will change in the near future because we are changing how we do new hire training.

Its mostly handled between me and HR. HR does all the payroll, paperwork etc. Then they get sent to me to watch our company specific training videos and I give them their PPE bag. Then they get hands on training along the way through other employees and foremen on site

We incorporate multiple organizations in the onboarding process. EHS specifically sends a special message to new hires directing them to training resources and requirements, assigning training based on their anticipated work, and introducing COVID-19 protocols and active mitigation strategies.
