What does your chain of command look like?
Curious to hear what the chain of command looks like for other safety professionals. For example: I report to the EHS Manager who reports to the Chief technical officer who reports to the President.

I am a Safety/Facilities Manager and report directly to the VP and have 4 direct reports.
No one reports directly to me. I dotted line report to our on site facilities manager. I directly report to corporate safety director who oversees me and 3 other EHS leads at other sites across the US.
I report to Health and Security which reports to the owners.
I report to the EHS Manager who reports to our Regional Safety Manager who reports to our Corporate Director of Safety.
I'm the EHS Manager - no direct reports underneath.

I have a dotted line connection to the North American Director of Safety who reports to the Corporate Safety Director in Europe
We are an EHS organization that goes up through Infrastructure to Operations to CEO.
We used to go up through the Quality org all the way to CEO. Since we are not income-generating, we get tossed around every once and a while.
