CERTIFICATION(s) - CUSP
Hello fellow Safety Knights!
I’m looking into acquiring a certification, and being in the utility industry, CUSP makes the most sense right now.
Does anyone out there hold this cert? If so, what’s the best way to study for the exam other than the $1000 study material.. the company I’m working for never said they wouldn’t fund me but are certainly dragging their feet every time I bring it up and I’d love to get started! I have a lot of free time due to EVERYTHING being shut down in California and any feedback would help!
(I have just under 3 years of safety experience, if anybody recommends any other certifications, I’ll def look into them as well)

I agree with david - what is the CUSP? I have never heard of it. I would buy SPAN books or apply for a grant to take a prep class with ASSP. I got a grant and took the ASP prep course.
I'm not a certification expert (since I have none), but out of curiosity - why the CUSP and not CSP? I'm not criticizing by any means. The only reason I ask is because I also work in the utility industry, and have not seen many people with the CUSP.
