Flammable storage

I am having a hard time finding the regulations stating the amounts permitted for storage versus in-use for General Industry.

Anyone have any guidance here?

We had an insurance visit and they dinged us because we had a workshop with 6 aerosols on a workbench, even though the space doesn't have any other flammables in the space. I am pretty sure what I am looking for is an NFPA standard and not an OSHA determination, but I just wanted to check with the group first.
