Lead paint testing
Anyone do a lot of lead paint testing? Right now we send samples out to a lab, but I know you can get some sort of IR gun that can test for lead too. Any experts out there who can advise?

I'm no expert, but I have used one of the IR guns before. They're expensive, I do know that ha. What are you trying to find out?

EPA licenses lead inspector/risk assessor here. OSHA does not recognize XRF as an acceptable method of analysis. See OSHA’s letter of interpretation. http://www.osha.gov/laws-regs/standardinterpretations/1999-03-01-0
