What's the salary cap for EHS positions?
Obviously if you're in consulting, theoretically there is no cap, but for those of us working in the industry, what do you think the standard salary cap is for the EHS field. I know some companies are bigger and may have EHS Directors or even EHS VP's - but wondering what you guys think the average salary cap is in our profession.
My guess is $150k if you're at the top of your pyramid.

Cap here at Senior level is 180000.00

1) Are you referring to this year? Because we all know inflation will play a large role over the next 10, 20 years.
2) Geographic location makes a difference, people living in California or NYC make a premium due to higher costs of living
So i'm gonna say right now 150-200k for a Director Level EHS Manager for a large company, or Medical System
That's a decent round number for a technical, non-supervisory position. An experienced group supervisor at a larger high complexity facility, such as refinery/petrochemical, probably could make closer to $200k. Those jobs are few and far between though.
