Asbestos Management Plan Sample
1.1 The purpose of the Asbestos Management Plan (Plan) is to provide processes and procedures designed to protect employees from the hazards associated with exposure to asbestos. Plenco does not use asbestos or asbestos containing materials in the manufacture of products. As such this program is focused on addressing asbestos that may be contained in thermal insulation or other building products. No health risks exist if these asbestos containing materials (ACM) are properly maintained and not disturbed. If disturbance, clean up, or removal of ACM is necessary, such operations will be effectively and safely managed through strict compliance with applicable State and Federal asbestos regulations.
1.2 The scope of this Plan covers the identification, maintenance of abatement of ACM. Asbestos abatement operations include disturbance, clean-up, repair or removal of identified ACM and PACM present in Plenco-owned properties.
