What's a good non-safety related certification to pursue
We're all pretty much aware of the big EHS related certifications, but I wanted to get a discussion going on some of the "Non-Safety" related certifications that often get overlooked.
One certification I got a while back was the CCST (Level 1) which deals with instrumentation and controls. There was a ton of relevant stuff with regards to equipment interlocks, and general instrument safety as well. Would definitely recommend to those interested in instrumentation:

Any that you guys can recommend?

That is definitely an interesting certification. What made you choose that particular cert?
Maybe look for something in the strength and conditioning realm to better understand how fitness can be improved for the employees at your location or to understand relationships between energy systems and tasks as well as difference between power and endurance.

I previously worked in the manufacturing sector and the Lean Six Sigma certification was always a plus. It covers a lot of transferable process management techniques and is relevant across various industries outside of just manufacturing.

Lean Black Belt training. It helps understanding manufacturing and Safety Values.

FEMA ICS Courses are a great compliment for anyone in the safety profession. There are basic courses that will give you a good understanding of how the program works. ICS100, ICS200, ICS700, and ICS800. If you are in a leadership or management role you could go so far as attending ICS300 and ICS400. ICS300 and 400 are required in person and will give you a chance to apply what you have learned. These courses will help you also establish working relationships with Responders in your local and surrounding area. They are emergency response / safety courses but provide a wealth of free information. FEMA has a Professional Development Series that gives you a nice "Certificate" once all of the courses are done. Here is a link to the classes.
