New normal?
Good morning all,
With the world beginning to return to work, what are some best practices that will stick around after the Virus is gone?
Will Social distancing be the new norm?
Will No touch services be the new norm?
What are your thoughts??

Agreed with everyone. Still too many unknowns.
I do think there may be a larger acceptance to push for engineering controls and administrative controls that were previously considered cost/resource prohibitive. Not all, but some.
Prime examples are glass sneeze/cough shields that most retail industries deemed customer prohibitive which will now be around in some form for our lifetimes. Another is working from home/flex work, which is already being looked at not just as a short term admin control, but a long term liability and cost reduction measure.

Although many people seem to be adapting to this new "norm," I'm finding that it's not 100% well received in my circles (which, is quite spread out). Humans, in general, are social beings and many still prefer to be in the presence of other people (especially us parents who are dying to spend time with another adult...LOL!).
Where I am, I'm finding that there are a lot of people who can't seem to keep that 6 foot distance - even with total strangers. Many businesses in my area are chomping at the bit to return to in-office services.
So I feel like as far as social interaction goes, the majority will go back to how things were, but it may just take a little time. Others will be more cautious in general, but with time, the mind tends to forget many fears that have not been personally validated.
But really, none of us truly knows.

Great question, but super hard to answer or even speculate at this point. My guess is that things will eventually go back to normal in terms of social distancing, but i think the workplace will be much more conscientious about workplace sanitation. We may even see some regulations roll out requiring companies have some sort of program enforcing this.

I really wish I knew, i like doing things remotely - but i'm not sure everyone does...it may go right back to how it was after this is all over
