COVID-19 Protection Measures
Good morning all, I am wondering what projects throughout the country are doing to protect the field staff and craft from the pandemic.
My project, we have implemented a plethora of hand wash and hand sanitizing stations throughout the site. Along with a composite clean-up crew that frequently goes around the whole site cleaning equipment & handrails on scaffolds/permanent stair towers. Limiting the amount of workers able to ride on busses/vans/buggys. Along with many more examples.
Feel free to share the measures your projects have taken or comment on the ones we have implemented

I hope this list gives you some insights:
- Social distancing
- Contact tracing
- Health passport to trace certain information but mainly temperature
- Fequent notifications on best practices
- Zone/bloc access restrictions to respect a max people density
- Signs in the field, paperless solutions...

Good luck to stay safe and keep your people safe.

Nice - we make our contractors complete a self monitoring form to ensure they are not sending sick or at-risk employees to work. Obviously that approach is limited by the honesty of the contractor, but so far we have had no issues.
We are also heavily limiting foot traffic through our control rooms and common areas.
