Where can I find procedures for exposure level sampling?
I’m not an industrial hygienist by trade, but if I wanted to do some exposure level sampling, where would I go to find the specific methods? Would that be a NIOSH thing? Say for example I want to see what employee exposure is to hydrogen sulfide during a specific job, where would I find the sampling procedure to be able to compare to the value I obtain to the official OSHA PEL?

I would reference ACGIH. I usually use their standards because they are more stringent and up-to-date than OSHA PEL. They would also have guidance on sampling methods and techniques.
