I know nothing about ergo so all that stuff gets outsourced. Not that it’s a bad thing but it would be nice to have some internal expertise in that subject. Definitely a weak point for the company

I would say a mix of paper assessments and software. I print a copy of the software checklist and bring it along for the discussion with operator(s). The key to industrial ergonomics is making it a closed loop process. Aim for continuous improvement by assessing post-control risk. Did the control(s) help, hurt, or do nothing?
