Heat Illness program
Instead of reinventing the wheel, does anyone in the SK community have a written plan/program/policy for Heat Illness Prevention? I have looked over a plan from CAL OSHA but it's a little more than I want to put into our new safety manual.
Also, if anyone has a slick PowerPoint to share with your employees about the new plan would be helpful as well.

Check out the ANSI A10.50 standard. It's construction-based, but has a lot of good guidance to help you create your own site-specific plan.

You could also check with your local OSHA office as they might have a compliance assistant specialist who can help with a program.
