ISO 45001/14001 checklists?
Hi all, posting to see if anyone has handy dandy checklists/templates to do a self-audit and/or track progress for ISO 45001/ISO 14001 standards?
I'd like to have an all-encompassing document that I can bring to our audits and link to our policies, procedures etc. instead of scrambling through our Teams files.
Something that had a list of each requirement from the ISO standards, the text of the standard itself, and then a place where I could drop in a link/documentation to what we're doing to fulfill that standard would be ideal.
If anyone has a template they'd be willing to share, i'd be super appreciative! It'd save so much time over writing a template out from scratch. :)

25 years ago I was a Production Manager back out on the plant floor. My medium sized Corporation was bought by a HUGE Corporation. Soon there after I was brought into the Plant Manager's Office office for a meeting with the PM, Quality Manager, and my boss the Mfg. Manager. I was going to be given a "stretch assignment". For the next 18 months I would be assigned to the Quality Department and the QM. My primary assignment was to gain ISO 9001 Certification for the plant within 18 months. I would be the lead person in this effort. It was made clear that any barriers I was to bring to the Plant Manager immediately! I was to have monthly meeting with the Plant Staff for updates. The following Monday I would be sent to the ASQ Office in Milwaukee for ISO Training. (we are north or Milwaukee 85 miles).
My first thought about putting me in Q was like they were putting a "Fox in the Hen House". I had been a thorn in every Q Department I worked with for 25 years! If there was a way around a Q Procedure I would figure it out! Next, Why would they put me in charge of a project like this, just an old Foundry Foreman? I did have a new MS degree, but I suspect my first thought had something to do with it!
To make a long story short, we obtained ISO 9001 Cert in 12 months from that meeting on our first certification audit! Thinking I would go back to my former job in Manufacturing, I was surprised to learn I was being assigned to HR and would be a HR Manager with Safety responsibility. I would have HR duties (WC and Recruiting) and EHS. When I protested the E, they removed it (I knew nothing about it!). I was to assist getting ISO 14000.
A couple years later the corp embarked on Zero-Injury philosophy with Lean. As part of that were had to be ISO 45000 "complaint" in 12 months. Meaning we had to have all the elements in place in 12 months as proven to Corp EHS, but not spend the money ($250K) for the formal certification. After 9001 & 14000 a snap!
Good Luck!
