What are you using for box knifes?
We had one of kitchen staff opening boxes with a 9 inch chef's knife. Luckily he didn't injure himself.
What are you using to open boxes? Any good, cheap products out there?

Normal safety knife , I like the ceramic ones bc you can’t cut yourself.

Slice products are the way to go! They are ceramic safety knives that cut boxes open perfectly, yet you can take it and go across your palm without getting hurt. My wife even uses them at home.
If you reach out to them, they'll typically send you some samples to try out.

Self retracing

If you’re only opening boxes you can get away with this lil guy. Pen for scale because I don’t have the standard measuring tool sitting around……..a banana.

Martor also has a self retracting knife. It takes some getting used to due to as soon as it loses connection with what it is cutting it automatically retracts. So I've had some techs that dislike that feature due to you have to apply consistent light pressure when cutting. I was able to get a few samples from Martor. They do use the traditional style blades, however.

Thanks everyone for giving a shout-out to Slice. If you want to inquire about samples, please send a message on our website:
