RO Water for Emergency Eye Wash & Shower?
Can you use RO water for a plumbed Emergency Eye Wash & Shower?

Do you have anything on your RO system to measure the water's purity once it's discharged? It just has to be potable water, so if you can ensure that, then I don't see a problem with it.

I had to look up RO water. Safety is full of acronyms and abbreviations that not everyone uses.

I had to look up RO water too! Google says I can drink it, so why not? If I can drink it why would it not be safe for eye flushing?
Isn't good ole tap water cheaper and more readily accessible? I would be much more worried how I am going to plumb the station and provide 15 minutes of "tepid" water. I live and work in NE Wisconsin near Lake Michigan. Our tap water comes almost directly from Lake Michigan after treatment. So our water is soft but except some years in late July, August, and early September, Cold! The tap water is very close to the temp of the water actually in "The Big Pond. " This time of year about 35F. 35F is not tepid.
So in my area I need good plumbing and a hot water heater.
