Portable Ladder Labeling
I cannot find it in 1910 but is there an ANSI standard on Ladder Labeling?
You think OSHA would cite someone for the labels missing on portable labeling in the picture? If so, "How?" Section 5a?
I thought about 6-7 years ago OSHA had a a big push (campaign) on Ladder Inspection. I am concerned primarily with 1910, not so much 1926.

You are correct - OSHA does not require any specific labeling on portable ladders, so they most likely could not cite you for a portable ladder not being labeled due to it not meeting the minimum criteria to be cited under the general duty clause.
As far as ANSI, I would have to double check, but I believe ANSI A14 requires ladders to be marked with the duty rating (e.g., I, II, III, IA, and IAA), manufacturer's info, and a few other things.

I had just read something on this a few days ago. I had always thought the same (it is a PAIN to try and find replacement labels for some brands).
