Leading and Lagging KPIs
Good morning everyone. I am looking to better incorporate the use of KPIs in my company's safety program. I'm curious to see if anyone has creative / outside the box leading or lagging indicators that they use? Outside of DART, TRIR, etc.

"KPIs? What is that? Never heard that term! I have been in the game since 1976.

We consider safety observations to be injury-free findings(IFF). We have gathered data for a few years of findings by team members, supervisory/management staff, and corporate team members (during site visits). We have been tracking the ratio of IFF by team members as a portion of the total findings. Our goal is to raise awareness of everyone to find, report, and fix these items with the emphasis on a growing percentage of IFF coming from team members. That ratio will join our operations kpi's in the new fiscal year (July).
