Contractor Safety Pre-Qualification Platforms
Does anyone use a service such as ISNetworld® to manage and vet their subcontractors for safety?
I'm wondering what other platforms or processes are out there (I'm very familiar with ISN) so that I can better help my clients with the requirements and implementing better safety programs.
Any and all feedback is welcome!

I've used just about all of them out there. IMO, ISN is by far the easiest and most organized. It's more in-depth and detailed, so it takes a little longer for contractors to upload everything, but that, in turn, helps reduce your overall risk. Avetta (which includes Browz now that they've merged) isn't too terribly bad. It's not as detailed as ISN, but Avetta is much better than Browz (I hated used Browz with a passion, haha). Not sure what industry you're in, but the oil and gas industry likes to use Veriforce quite a bit, as well.
I have one customer that uses Abbottsfield, and I had to go through it in order to be allowed on-site at their plants, but was a little difficult to manuever through. Not sure of anyone else who uses Abbottsfield, but it does have it's perks.
I've used ISN pretty extensively in the past with my previous companies, and also use it now with Arrow Safety to be able to visit customer sites. Overall, I don't think there's a more thorough, detailed, and organized contractor management platform out there from a contractor standpoint (not sure about from a host facility standpoint).
If I can share a side note to these companies (ISN, Avetta...). If your company is going to require your contractors to participate in these programs, please verify that they are asking for pertinent information from the client. I have worked in Risk/Safety for a staffing company for near 20 years and the fact that clients require staffing companies to be treated the same way as an electrical contractor is amazing. We do not supervise out employees at the site, the client does. There is no reason we should have all the detailed safety programs when our employees fall under the client's supervision/programs. We do have basic general safety programs, but we end up having to put together programs for clients on topics that our employees never perform functions that would require such a program. And since the auditing company wants all the money they can get, unless you tell them to treat staffing agencies different, they will not.
