Tent Weight Help
Hello all!
I'm working with an events team about a festival setup and am wondering how much weight I should require each tent to have on each leg. Unfortunately, this is on concrete ground, so staking won't be possible. Ballasting could be an option. If anyone has any information about the math I need to perform, that would be greatly appreciated!

A lot of times, if you're concerned about wind, I've seen people use sand bags at each leg.

Maybe 50 lb sand bag at each leg.

I cannot give a definitive answer, but based on my experience of using these during cross country meets in college…it’s more than you think. Like take what you think and then triple it.

In my experience as a craft vendor (I'm a potter as well), I've handled up to 10 mph winds with 10 lbs on each leg.
One time, there were 30 mph wind gusts at a festival and twenty pounds on each leg and a human holding on each pole didn't handle it and the top tore right off.
But on a normal, windy-ish day that's not crazy windy, 5-10 should be plenty.
