Thanks for posting, Fitz! Knew it would be getting published sooner or later.
My Kentucky customers are glad they don't have to pay the federal OSHA penalty amounts, haha. Our penalty amounts are less than half of the federal OSHA amounts and not subject to annual increases. (But I'm sure that may change at some point - just not any time soon).
Sadly, as much as they increase penalty amounts, I don't think it's a very effective deterrent for many first-time offenders. Many companies think they're invincible, and that it'll never happen to them.
