MOC for logic change
What do big companies do for MOC when it comes to logic changes?
Ex: An electrician working the night shift makes a parameter change on an area scanner
How do you ensure that the change that was made was acceptable and still protects the worker?
Restricted access? Paper trail? Etc…

Does the electrician have that kind of authority?
I am not an electrical person, but seems like a huge change to me as a layperson. If he/she did have the authority how is it communicated to everyone? Seems like a big deal! Probably why you asked..... So I am anxious to see how it is answered.
What kind of area scanner are we talking about here? For robotics?
Safety huddle at each change of shift. It provides an opportunity to share any changes, events, things to follow up on, etc.
