MVR Software & Defensive Driving Courses
What MVR softwares are you all currently using or previously?
We are wanting to make our acceptable driving records more stringent than insurance and will need a software to complete internally.
Also, defensive driving courses… what online training have you used that you liked? We’re going to require approved drives to complete a course on annual basis. So I would like to streamline this if possible.

Samba for MVR’s. NSC has a decent course for non CMV drivers.

We use HireRight for our MVRs. It's okay but they are a pain sometimes when it comes to customer service. I've had times that express MVR's get hung in the system and when I chat with customer service I get the response "It's still waiting on a quality check." I ask them to do an expedite on it and magically it appears in my inbox shortly after!
As for Defensive Driving, I've used the NSC course Rick mentioned below as well as Marsh's P.A.C.E. system. The PACE system generally has a couple of components- Lecture/Classroom and Ride Along to determine how well they are implementing the techniques. I generally only do the classroom portion due to time shortages).
