Fleet vehicle monitoring
I am looking for experience in fleet vehicle monitoring. We have a fleet of about 10 work trucks and looking to monitor them for time to/from job locations and to collect historical data should they make a stop for any amount of time. What has worked for your fleet? TIA

Are these commercial vehicles that have ELDs? Or just regular pickup trucks, like an F150, Silverado, etc.?
Where I live, Verizon network was reliable. They have a tracking product called Verizon Connect. This was the best of three providers that we cycled through in short time frame. The solution from JJ Keller seemed very good, but has a lot of bells and whistles for data and fleet management suite that o didn’t care to pay for. They did not offer their fleet solution “a la carte” at the time, and I didn’t need all of the extra features. I did not like the Verizon connect for commercial ELD HOS tracking, but if all you’re doing is GPS and waypoint monitoring, I would highly recommend the Verizon solution, but that is dependent on the reliability of their cell reception in your area.

Which ever one you look into, I would say to get one that has modules that you can pay for what you need and use. And not one that you will be loaded with features you may never use.
