
Asking a regulator to sign an NDA before allowing inspection?
How many of you ask an OSHA or other regulator(s) to sign an NDA either before, or when they arrive for an inspection? This question applies to both scheduled and unscheduled inspections of all types?

In my experience, some of the OSHA CSHOs will not sign it initially. If you insist, they will usually have to contact their supervisor for approval, depending on why you're having them sign it.

I do not think they need sign. Ask your corporate or company counsel.
I think they are bound by ethics, oaths, laws, and their own NDAs. They would not be CHSOs long if they shared company info to others! Plus if you do not mess with Uncle Sam especially if you are his employee! Uncle Sam gets mad at you and calls the US Justice Dept. You do not want to mess with them, the IRS, and in my experience OFCCP (if you are Federal Contractor). All the rest are sissy's!
