What You Call an OSHA CHSO or CSHO? I GOT it Straight Now!

So I had a hard time remembering what you call an OSHA person visiting your plant. I know it is either CHSO or CSHO. Struggled with it for years, just one of those things I guess. I think the problem is I want to put the S=Safety first for CSHO but someone somewhere decided it should be CHSO.

So this morning I call the OSHA Appleton (WI) Office. A person actually answers, usually I get voicemail lately, this surprises me! The voice says, "Hello, how can I assist you today from the local OSHA Office?" It is a younger male voice.
I say. "I need to talk to someone on Mechanical Power Presses, specifically I have questions on 1910.217(h)."
The voice says back, "Well we do not get many questions in that one. We do not have a press expert, really. But I am a 'COHSHOW' , I will give it a shot but I do not have a great deal of experience with presses".
I start to laugh and say, "Did you say COH-SHOW? Does that mean you are a C H S O? I have never heard the term COH SHOW." Laugh some more.
He laughs back, 'Yes I am and that is the name we call ourselves here at OSHA."
So I ask him my questions on presses and he struggles but says what I expected.
I thank him and say, "Well I want to thank you for getting the CHSO or CSHO thing straight in my head! I got it now! By COH SHOW!"

So they are COHSHOWs at least in pronunciation. :) Made my day!
