I am having difficulty keeping a solid security force. People walking off post and never coming back or just don't care. Also still struggling on training employees here do to high turnover. We are a PSM plant and more time spent on training lately than my actual Safety Role. Everyone elso seeing the same?

In my previous role - I was the EHS manager and had two direct reports. Unfortunately, one of my direct reports was losing 50% of his week due to new hire orientations (exceptionally high turnover as well). It was to the point where I couldn't keep up with the workload. So I feel your pain, but unfortunately, it was an organizational struggle, and I could not solve it.
The company needed to fix benefits/pay/conditions but I'm assuming they couldn't correct them due to economic struggle.
My husband works in the security industry. He talks about this constantly. Unfortunately, you are not alone. :(
