Access to ANSI Standards
Hey all,
Does anyone know of a platform that gives you access to all ANSI standards instead of buying each one at a time? I am looking for a cost-efficient way to access these standards without purchasing each one individually.

No, there's not one. You can sometimes buy packages which include all standards in a series. However, there's not a platform, like NFPA Link, that does this.
Yup, But have your credit card ready. Not for free! They can be quite expensive! I have no "sugar-daddy" for my small company and felt I needed one for one of my clients. The "suite" of standards I needed amounted to $1500. I asked the client if they would put up the $ and they said, "No way!" So I told them what I thought the standards said, but they let it go in one ear and out the other! I put my thoughts in writing and went on to the next client! Sometimes that is all you can do! But ANSI does NOT do it for free!

I have seen .pdfs on Google that could be easily downloaded! But be very very careful! ANSI will prosecute for copyright infringement!! I had a friend find out the hard way when he "borrowed one" and then was to free publishing and using the information! Some can be under $100. But others may be as much as $500. That is a big hit for a small company like mine!
You can always get the ones incorporated by reference into an OSHA standard for free 😄
I use Techstreet for my standards. We have lots of ANSI, ASME, API, and ASSE packages. You can add bookmarks and notes to them.
We also have NFPA Link under a separate subscription.
