Are You Prepared for an Active Shooter?
With this morning's active shooter incident in Louisville, KY (the 2nd active shooter incident with a 100-mile radius of me within the past month), it brings up the question:
How prepared is your workplace for an active shooter situation?
Have you conducted active shooter training AND drills?
Do you have policies and procedures in place?
Have you conducted a formal threat assessment to identify any vulnerabilities?

We have done none. I have tried before but always got pushback on certain aspects of the training or plans. Do you use the normal run, hide, fight.

Prayers for everyone involved!
Drew is right on! In today's world you better. "Expect the best, but PLAN (and drill) for the WORST!" This is the WORST!

Too bad we cannot keep the best solution on us at work, but it is in the car.
I did the Alice active shooter training and it was pretty good.
