Who Knew? Niagara Falls Stopped!
Well not quite, "Heck Freezing Over, but Close!" Today is the Day!

If you have never been there I recommend it, at least one time! I have only been on the Canadian Side. I have to say seeing the old Star Spangled Banner on the Other Side, for some reason really got to me, shed a tear or two!

Right in my back yard!

It's been really cold up a Lake Tahoe this year. Plus we are on track for the 2nd or 3rd snowiest year ever recorded. Lake Tahoe is the to deep to freeze (over 1600 feet deep). There is a small section of the lake called Emerald Bay that is fairly shallow compared to the rest of the lake. It froze over this winter for the first time since the early 90s.
