Tire causes MVA
This is a great example of how fast things happen when traveling on the highways!

I saw that yesterday. Crazy!! Emphasizes the importance of a quick pre-trip inspection, especially for DOT commercial vehicles.

And the wheel hits the Kia a second time just to add insult to injury. Not sure what the Kia owner did, but they sure ticked off that wheel.

Holy smokes! Many years my mom and dad were driving on I-94 into Detroit, out near Metro Airport in Romulus. They started to pass a flat-bed semitruck full of steel rolls. On of the wheels and tire flew off the front axle of the trailer hitting my parents car in right over the right rear tire, with such force the car did a 180 going 70 mph. The car rolled over several times. The truck jack-knifed and swerved so hard a couple of the steel rolls flew off the trailer smashing through a couple guardrails! Several other cars dodged and weaved but avoided the each other, my parents car and the semi! The truck driver had a sprained back and my parents were shook up but only had a couple minor bumps and scrapes. To this day when I am on an interstate passing a semi I do not waste anytime getting around a truck and keep my eye on it! You never know as this video shows! Wear your seat belt!

Dang!!
