Just Astounding!

This just astounds me! If these violations were hard to abate or expensive I might understand as to, "Why?" However, most are just simple and stupid! Blocked exits and poor housekeeping. They just do not seem to care! Complete disregard for the safety of employees and customers! I think of this every time I drive by one of their stores! How does their Marketing and PR Departments justify this? If my research is correct, 360 inspections in 10 years. Must be every OSHA Office in the country looks at their visits and citation history and if they are below "pace" the manager says. "Go visit a DG!" DG gives us all a bad rap!

I'm not sure what their financials are, but if they aren't taking care of their people, their staff are less likely to care, which is where I imagine this is where it's stemming from...along with poor training.
