Who is a CIH?
I get many questions on IH and Haz Mat. I would like to refer those questions to a good CIH or maybe a CIH in training.

Are you looking for a CIH on here? Or anywhere?
Keep in mind that IH and HAZMAT aren't always the same. For HAZMAT, I'd recommend referring to someone with IHMM credentials (e.g., CHMM, CHMP, etc.) rather than a CIH.

I'm a CIH, but I'd send my HAZMAT questions to someone like Drew.

Are these regulatory questions, or practical?
What zone of hazmat? Shipping, waste, or something else?

Tom
I'm not an IH but spent over 15 years as Hazmat specialist when I was a firefighter. If you have any hazmat questions, send them my way.
Along with others who have responded, I do IH work every day. My IH business partner, Cass Willard (also a CIH), cut his teeth doing HAZMAT response work. We love to help other professionals any time we can.

@Tom - You can contact Rachel Housman. Her email is rachel.walla@allysafety.com
She does a lot of safety videos on youtube but is a CSP and CIH. Here's a fun video she did:

I have been a CIH consultant since 1990 and have encountered a very wide range of workplace and community hazards, especially a lot of weird ones in Las Vegas - my main stomping ground for the last 30 years. I have also taught graduate level IH classes at UNLV. I would be happy to answer questions about industrial hygiene and hazardous materials issues.
