Ladder Safety
What are Ya'll's thoughts on this one? I have three of these in total.
They all are just 6-8 feet and lead from my top roof down to lower sections. If you were to fall, you would only fall they 6-8 feet and no more.
Oh yes, I was wearing protections when photo was taken.

Hard to tell the dimensions from the photos, but if the rungs are 16 inches wide, 7 inches from the wall, and the extension is 42 inches above the access level and 24 inches wide, you're probably compliant.
You definitely identified the big issue though, and that's fall protection.

That SUCKS! It's a new(ish) looking ladder, I'm surprised they didn't put the guardrails and gate up when they installed it. Contractor who installed it should've known better.
Sounds like you're on it.
Required - no. Magic number is 24 feet for the 2036 rule. However, who is using the ladder, and what are they doing? Plant maintenance? Probably be odd huge benefit for the retractable lanyard system “just in case”. Carrying equipment, weather conditions, etc.

Perfectly legal. I'm super impressed with the way the rails are extended to assist the climber.
