Q: working near power panels
Hi.
Appreciate your input here.
I have a situation where 3 offices (control room for a laboratory) are placed near / between power panels (photo attached).
I was wondering other than fire and heat hazards, should I be concern to include electromagnetic exposure affecting these operators?
I know the design of these power panels should be in a dedicated electrical room with special fire protection... etc.
However, I want to make a strong case of the hazards around the operators so we can isolate them or remove the power panels to a proper room/location.
Thanks in advance

You're not going to find any evidence that non-ionizing radiation causes cancer or any other health effects. I know that some people have very strong feelings otherwise, and I'm not here to argue or debate, just simply stating that there is no scientific evidence at the moment.
It's hard to tell from the photo exactly what you have going on, but it looks like 3 phase power, probably 480V? There's going to be very little EMF exposure from that.
As far as your other questions, again it's hard to know from the photo, but it's not necessarily required that an electric panel be in a dedicated room. In fact, it usually isn't.

I would meter that to see if a magnetic field distance on it. My opinion without data is no problem . However arc flashing info should be on the doors. In picture I see no labels to that effect.
