Biohazard Awareness Month
February is Biohazard Awareness Month! Anyone do anything at their work for it? I'll be sending out a posting and a training through our training software as well as reviewing our bbp kits. As an added bonus, I used my dog to demonstrate the importance of using ppe to protect yourself from a spill (he got a treat following this picture).

I love it! Currently working on updating our blood pathogen policy so its great to see this!
We typically do an event for the November Biosafety awareness month. Training on BBP, biosafety cabinets, or other lab equipment/processes. The glove game is a good one.
