Maybe not so personal. Work related

Get my CSP, launch my Spanish learning app and put more emphasis on my training skills at work

Mine are related to a better use of data. As an organization we generate a ton of useful data, so much so that it can be overwhelming.
1) A transition to relying more on leading indicators. We've measured leading indicators for a long time, long before my time here, but we haven't always been great at using them in our decision making processes. We still rely on lagging indicators for that. We're going to be rolling out a balanced scorecard approach to try to accomplish this.
2) Getting away from heatmap dashboards. We use heatmaps to visualize our KPIs. Green = good, Red = Bad, Yellow = ???. These are fine for a quick check, but they don't really give you all of the information. How bad is bad? How good is good? Is one red month a fluke or is something going on? By using control charts we can quickly visualize how far from the mean we are and get a better idea if a deviation is really a signal or just noise.
3) Consistent data collection. We have a lot of different departments that generate data used in measuring the effectiveness of our safety management system. Because of this, there are a lot of small inconsistencies on how things are measured or how they are reported. We're going to work to close this gap to make it easier to compare apples to apples.
