Hi Safety Professionals,
Thanks to everyone that provided feedback (Nov 7 post) to assist me with my new role and developing safety programs.
Since my last post, I developed a risk management policy, emergency action plan policy and a stop work authority policy. I’m currently in the research and planning phase of developing a safe driver incentive program!
Does anyone have any recommendations on safety management software? My employer doesn’t have any SM software so I would like to purchase something ASAP.

I'd recommend Sospes. They're obviously not as complex as the major ones like VelocityEHS, but has all the basics and fairly inexpensive. If you'd like a demo, I have a contact there I can set you up with. It can handle incident reporting, certification tracking, etc.
There are lots. It depends on your budget and what you want to track (everything or only like 1 or two things like incident reporting and SDS management). I have contacts for Velocity EHS, EHS Momentum, Frontline Data Solutions, and others. Let me know if you want me to connect you!

Software is such a great way to manage your system. I recommend Wombat EHS. They built it with EHS pros and they have tons that you can do from your cell phone. If you want to talk, let me know so I can put you in touch with the right person.

SSC is probably the lowest cost and created and managed by a very savey IT guy, Michael Harper. Susan Trail is their Technical Consultant and is a former OSHA CSHO and is a CIH. She sometimes contributes to SN.
Another I like and am just starting to learn is Wombat. I really like the Marketing Director, Sienna and the creator and owner, Ron. They really seem to take great pains in designing their system using advice from H&S Pros. One thing I like for consultants like me is they help with developing my business if I help them!

I used Cority at an old job and it was great, lots of customization but also good out-of-the-box options. Heard good things about VelocityEHS too. Heard not-great things about Gensuite.
