2023 professional goals thread
What are some of your professional goals for 2023?
I plan on grabbing my CSP next year and spending a lot of time updating and implementing some programs at work. Excited to hone in my training skills as I work with employees on implementing new practices.

CSP for sure! I need to finally take it. I have only been saying this for about 5 years now. My GSP is about to run out, maybe that is the push I needed.
And my OSHA 510/511. I have my construction hours and have for a while.

After Finishing my degree in 2022 with my GSP, I am looking to complete my CSP by June 2023.
And Also to focus more on getting my business up and running.

Finish up my project management cert from Google and finish my Master in industrial/organizational psychology.

My goals are somewhat modest by some of yours. #1 Keep myself healthy for my family! #2 Continue to enjoy Life, which is important to #1. Keeping my life in balance. A trick I leaned from a PhD therapist who is and Ojebwe Medicine Man using the Indian Medicine Wheel, sort of the same thing as the Buddhist Ying and Yang. Part of that it to know God more as my friend! #3 I have to take OSHA 503, for the third time! Might be my last, you never know. #4 I would like to find 3-4 new steady customers. #5 Go to Canada on another fishing trip. Take my wife on another nice trip, she deserves it putting up with me! #6 Spend as much time with my wife, daughters, grandkids, my dog, and grand dogs! #7 Go to the woods at least once a week, for #1 and to keep my mind clear

I just passed my CSP on the third try. The second time I took it I was one question off..it was the worse feeling ever. I studied for 6 months. My goal going forward is confidence and more time on myself and my family. After losing my job during COVID I've learned that life needs balance. If anyone has suggestions for leadership books let me know.
