Taking ASP on Monday - any last minute tips?
Planning on making this weekend a major study cram weekend - have a few more practice question booklets I still need to work through.
Anyone have any last minute tips?

Keep the mindset of you're implementing the programs for the front line workers. You're out there actually doing the work and putting things into place. Study up on environmental if you haven't already. I had about 10 questions about brownfields, extraction, legal aspects, etc.

Never took ASP or CSP but have taken the PHR and SHR. Just some tips on the mechanics of taking it if multiple choice and on a pc. First go through and do all the questions you can answer easily. If you have to think about it, leave it for now, you will come back. Second, go back through the ones you did not answer. Try to think logically and remember your training and experience. Rule out the possible answers you know are wrong. Then try to pick the one that sounds and feels most right! If you still cannot pick the solution then you just have to pick one! But if you can narrow it down 2 out of 5, 3, out of 5, and 4 out of 5 are much better odds!
After you take the test I will tell you a story where a number of years ago I took the PHR with my oldest daughter. She had just gotten her BS in HR from college. I had a general business MS a few years before, but my HR education was 25 years before, and that was in something called Personnel (BA). She was 23 and I was 49. All I will say now, is one of us passed the test and one of us did not!
